Cernit is not as widely available as the other brands within the US, but can easily be found online.It is one of the strongest clays (second to Kato Polyclay), easy to condition, and maintains flexibility when cured.
Cernit is available in 27 standard colors, 18 pearlescent colors, 6 neon colors, 6 nature colors, and 7 colors specially formulated for dolls (biscuit, white, caramel, flesh, suntan, nougat, and almond).
After curing Cernit has a translucent quality and the porcelain-like finish, which makes it a popular choice among doll makers.
